Grimlock realised it would be difficult to repair his original body, but was eager to get back into action as soon as possible. Grimlock agreed to any conditions; he went to Earth and chose to become reformatted into a Binaltech Transformer. In response to his determination, the Alliance provided him a body of the largest power class, thus marked the birth of the most powerful Binaltech warrior.
