Second in power only to Megatron, this ambitious
Destron leader approaches his actions with cold and brutal logic. His body
was destroyed in the chaos caused by the alteration of Seibertron's history.
In this new world, the Destron army had been severely weakened and
scattered. In order to regroup the remaining forces, Laserwave was reborn as
their new leader with the help of Ravage. Able to manipulate electromagnetic
wavelengths, he can fire a wide variety of lasers from his left arm.
Additionally, he is equipped with powerful jet thrusters on both sides,
which provide him with the ability to fly, as well as long-range vision that
is capable of covering interplanetary distances. Furthermore he possesses
five holographic duplicates which he can project to any coordinates on the
planet at will.
